Eriq Ebouaney was born in Angers (Maine & Loire) of Cameroonian parents, after studying international business, he started his passion for theatre and cinema. Soon enough he began to live his profession by integrating the Cie La Baignoire, then he worked on texts by Euripide, Tennessee Williams, Novarina, Chekov, Koltès, and in the private theatre he was seen alongside Michel Galabru, Martha
Mercadier, then Bernard Tapie in Flight over a Coucou Nid, and it is currently in the
room Edmond d-Alexis Michalik.

But it's in the cinema in the main role in Lumumba by Raoul Peck and his role as « Bad guy » in Fatal woman Brian de Palma whom he makes known to the general public. Since this transformation, which took place some 20 years ago, he has collaborated with actors and
internationally renowned directors including Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson, John Malkovich, Antonio Banderas, Jean Dujardin, Jean Reno, Gérard Depardieu, Benoit Magimel, Alexandra Lamy, Sandrine Bonnaire, Ridley Scott, Brian de Palma, Mahamat Haroun Saleh, Olivier Assayas, Park ChanWook, Jean-Jacques Annaud...

We could also see it on Netflix in Earth and Blood by Julien Leclercq and Bronx d-Olivier

Eriq Ebouaney was born in Angers (Maine-et-Loire), France, to Cameroonian parents. After completing his studies in international business, he decided to pure his true passion—action. He quickly began working professionally, joining the company La Baignoire, and went on to perform in works by Euripides, Tennessee Williams, Valère Novarina, Anton Chekhov, and Bernard-Marie Koltès. In the private theater scene, he shared the stage with renewed figures such as Michel Galabru and Marthe Mercadier, and later with Bernard Tapie in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. He is currently starring in Edmond, a play by Alexis Michalik.

However, it was his breakout role in Lumumba by Raoul Peck, followed by his portrayal of the « bad guy » in Brian De Palma Fatal woman, that brought Him into the spotlight and learned Him recognition from a wider international audience.
