Children of the Marais

« We're a cashier, but we're not comb-asss. »This is the philosophy of Garris, a simple, generous and somewhat poised man who lives on the edge of a pond with his friend Riton, who raises three turbulent children from his second marriage. Riton, from time to time, drowns her grief in the red wine to try to forget her first wife and great love. Around them there is also Amédée, a dreamer passionate about reading, Pépé, an old man from the marsh who has become rich and Tane, the driver of the small local train. One day, Garris met a young woman, Marie.
