A group of adventurers began to break a gold mine in the heart of Guyana. But the operation is not going as planned, and when they flee, their helicopter must land in disaster in the middle of the jungle. They've got six hundred kilos of gold... but now they have to carry them on their backs in a very hostile environment. The spoil becomes a burden.
The seven runaways, five men, two women, sink into the jungle. The climate, the insects, the fatigue, the threat of the pursuers... Everything helps make their long walk impossible. The forest seems to have to close on them. And the group's cohesion is eaten up by gold fever...
