Half-brothers, Joel and Régis have in common only their father whom they barely know.
Joel's unemployed and not really numb. France, « racist country » According to him, is the cause of all his failures and being black is the permanent excuse he found not to look for work or pay his bus ticket. Régis is fully integrated. Called to the bedside of their dying father in the West Indies, they receive for any inheritance the act of freeing up who has restored freedom to their slave ancestors, a document that is passed on from generation to generation.
With little regard to the symbolic wealth of this document, they tear it apart.
Decided to punish them for the gesture they have just made, a mysterious old aunt who had been watching them since their arrival in the West Indies decides to make them go back in time, in the midst of a slave age! Parachute in 1780, they were sold to the market as slaves. The two brothers will then have to unite, not only to escape from the plantation but also to find ways to return home in the 21st century.
